I'm Jake.
I was the Head of Production at ROVE before this. I've also produced all kinds of freelance work for all kinds of clients. I've worked with on launches with brands like Google, Spotify, Disney, Stanford, Toyota, and Segway.
NYU film school taught me how to make things. UCLA MBA taught me how to run a strategic team. Both taught me production models optimize for the wrong variable.
So I built Kanu to optimize for the right one: speed without sacrificing quality.
HOW THIS ACTUALLY WORKS
It's me, plus a small roster of specialists I've worked with on past launches.
The roster: Editors who can turn around cuts overnight. Animators who don't need art direction spelled out. Creative Directors who've done this at 2am and can do it again.
The model: You work directly with me. I coordinate the team. You don't manage freelancers or wait for days of revisions.
The result: Revisions move fast. The video doesn't become the reason the launch slips.
